Heat capital was founded by Henrik Sandefeldt. Henrik spent 15 years in London working for various investment banks before moving back to his home country of Sweden. He was mainly active within the FICC space and spent his last 10 years as an FICC salesperson at UBS. In 2006 he was made Head of Nordic sales and shortly thereafter promoted to managing director. His day to day responsibilities consisted in liaising with Nordic pension funds, insurance companies and banks. He focussed on more strategic projects such as derivative solutions, illiquid assets and fund placement.

From 2018 Henrik is also the part owner of Realcorp Advisory. A firm that helps, mostly Nordic,
companies find debt solutions outside of the traditional banking system.
